Year 5 Homework

Homework is set every Friday and will be due in the next Friday.

This will be the last homework set for this academic year.

Homework set on Friday 11th September 2026. 

1. English: Students have a comprehension homework based on The Umbrella Mouse. They should read the text carefully and answer the questions.
2. Maths: There is a MyMaths task based on the work we have been doing in class this week. The focus is on place value.
3. Spelling:
   Group 1 are working on words ending in -ous.
   Group 2 are working on homophones.
4. Topic: Students have also been given a topic homework to explore a country in North America and create a fact file about it. They will have the opportunity to present their fact file to the class.
