This will be the last homework set for this academic year.

This week, the children’s homework focuses on developing their understanding of data handling and continuing to build spelling fluency.
Spelling

Pupils will be set revision words on EdShed this week. They will be tested on these on Friday.

Maths

This week’s MyMaths homework focuses on bar charts and line graphs. Pupils have activities set to support this learning. Please encourage your child to complete these carefully and check their answers before submitting.

Times tables

Although the Multiplication Tables Check is now complete, it is still important that children continue to practise their times tables regularly. Ongoing practice will help them maintain fluency, speed and accuracy, which will support their learning across maths and in future year groups.
Children should continue to use TT Rockstars in Garage mode as normal.

Reading

Please ensure your child reads regularly at home, aiming for five short sessions across the week. It would be very helpful if parents could record these in the reading record each time their child reads.
