Year 4 Homework Summary This Week

This week, the children’s homework focuses on developing their understanding of angles and continuing to build spelling knowledge.

Spelling
Pupils will be set either words with the prefix 'bi', meaning 'two', or challenge words, on EdShed. They will be tested on these on Thursday 21st May.

Maths
This week’s maths homework on MyMaths focuses on angles. Pupils have activities set to support this learning. Please encourage your child to complete these carefully and check their answers before submitting.

Times tables
Children should continue to use TT Rockstars in Garage mode to build speed and accuracy with their multiplication and division facts. Regular, short practice sessions are best for improving fluency.

Reading
Please ensure your child reads regularly at home, aiming for five short sessions across the week. It would be very helpful if parents could record these in the reading record each time their child reads.
