Year 2

Welcome to Year 2!

In Year 2 we have two classes - Rowan Class and Chestnut Class

Rowan Class is taught by Mr. Hill and Mrs Hilston with Mrs. Lawlor as our teaching assistant. Chestnut Class is taught by Mrs Irvine (Mon-Thurs) and Mrs Turner (Fri).  Our teaching assistant is Mrs. Kyle.

In Year 2 we do lots of amazing topics:

• This Is Your Life
• Fantastic Festivals
• London with a focus on the 'Great Fire of London.'
• Discoveries Big and Small
• Australia

In the Spring term we have a drama workshop exploring the events of the Great Fire of London.

In the Summer term we start our new topic with a visit to Nower Wood to explore the different habitats within the woodland, along the way trying pond dipping and hunting for mini beasts.
