Sports Reports 2025 - 2026

28th November 2025 - Year 5/6 Girls Football

What a privilege it is to have so many enthusiastic girls wanting to play football! It was a hard decision picking 10 girls from the 26 that regularly attend Thursday training. A large factor for getting picked was attitude, the girls who were picked represented St Pauls with courage and Pride. What a fantastic tournament and wonderful experience for all involved, there was some fearless defending, great press play up the field and some lovely finishes. All 10 girls should be really proud of themselves, they finished in 4th place due to goal difference – 1 more goals and they would have finished 2nd! Congratulations to Holly, Emily, Harriet, Eva, Ava, Cleo, Isabelle, Annika, Lucy & Ivy Rose for their impressive performance & Sportsmanship.

25th November 2025 - Year 5 Boys Football

21th November 2025 - New Age Kurling

This week, a few Year 3 and 4 children had the opportunity to try out New Age Kurling at the Dorking Sports Centre. We got the chance to practice our power, aim and skill before having some matches against other schools. It was an amazing opportunity, which the children loved, and inspired us to appreciate the fun in participating in sport.

20th November 2025 - Children In Need Sports Crew Lunchtime Festival

This afternoon, we had a fantastic active festival at lunchtime, lead by our wonderful Sports Crew, in aid of Children in Need. The children loved all the activities and the music. There were loads of smiles and, most importantly, all the childen we active!

18th November 2025 - Gymnastics Year 3,4,5,6

Today, we had an amazing morning at The Ashcombe School, competing at the annual Dorking Schools Gymnastic Competition. We had 20 children taking part in the competition and, over the last 7 weeks, they have been busy learning their ribbon, floor and vault/bench routines ready to perform today.

There was nerves at the start but this soon turned into excitement and pride. All the children performed so well and I am so proud of them. Both the year 3/4 and the year 5/6 teams came away with 3rd place. An amazing achievement.

Well done St Paul's!!!

Sports Crew

Since our training, we have been busy leading play sessions each lunch time, ensuring the younger children have fun and stay active. It has been such a fun experience so far and we can't wait to continue this over the year.

Watch out for our first lunchtime festival, coming to the playground in November!!!

Cross Country September 2025

This year's cross country started with amazing attendance at the club with over 50 children attending. The competition was soon after the start of term and we had 45 children taking part at The Weald. We could not believe the resliliance and determination shown by all the children in year 3,4,5 and 6.

After the first competition. this is where we stand, with an overall placing of 3rd.

Every competition counts to the final score so I can't wait to see what we can to at the next race.
