This week, the children’s homework focuses on practising key number skills and continuing to strengthen their spelling knowledge.

Spelling:
Pupils should work on their 'Challenge words' this week, which are set on EdShed. These will help reinforce tricky spelling patterns and extend their vocabulary.

Maths:
On MyMaths, pupils have tasks set on Addition and Subtraction, focusing on using mental methods efficiently. Please encourage your child to complete these activities carefully and check their answers before submitting.

Times Tables:
Children should continue to use TT Rockstars in Garage mode to build speed and accuracy with their multiplication and division facts. Regular, short practice sessions are best for improving fluency.

Reading:
Please ensure your child reads regularly at home, aiming for five short sessions across the week. It would be very helpful if parents could record these in the reading record each time their child reads.
