Netballers out and about!

St. Paul's netball team have enjoyed a fantastic adventure to Leatherhead!
On Wednesday, St. Paul’s Year 5/6 Netball team were picked up by two sparkly white minibuses, to embark on a very exciting adventure.
Twenty minutes later, we found ourselves at St. John’s School in Leatherhead, ready to have a master-class in Netball from a 20-cap England Netball player and coach of the St John’s Netball Team.

As a team, we learnt about dynamic stretching – led by the St. John’s Year 7s – as well as passing and pivoting, finishing off with a game of 7 a-side Netball.
Our adventure did not stop there!
After exerting a lot of energy on the Netball courts, we were taken to the dining room for sports tea.
As one of our children put it:
“It was an amazing experience. I feel like I am in a dream and I don’t want to wake up!”
A huge thank you to St. John's for giving our young netballers a wonderful afternoon.
