Curriculum and Assessment Evening
We had a packed hall of parents last night, finding out more about changes to our curriculum and assessment that have taken place this year.
The leadership presented information about the new English and maths expectations at Key Stage One and Two, as well as a summary of how we assess the children at St. Paul's and what the judgements mean when presented in the end-of-year reports. We also talked about ways of helping children at home.
There was a huge amount to take in, but we hope you all felt that you had a better understanding of the standards the children are working towards under the new government guidelines.
The slides from the meeting are now available for anyone unable to attend, or those who wish to take more time to digest the information.
You can also download a copy of the criteria used to assess children from Years 1-6.
