Spelling

Pupils should practise words ending in -ssion, which are set on EdShed. They will be tested on these on Friday.

Maths

This week’s maths homework on MyMaths focuses on fractions, particularly improper fractions and mixed numbers. Pupils have activities set to support this learning. Please encourage your child to complete these carefully and check their answers before submitting.

History and Maths

Children have been given a History and Maths project on Roman numerals, which is available on Teams. They are expected to create a booklet to present their understanding. Please encourage your child to take pride in their work and present it neatly.

Times tables

Children should continue to use TT Rockstars in Garage mode to build speed and accuracy with their multiplication and division facts. Regular, short practice sessions are best for improving fluency.

Reading

Please ensure your child reads regularly at home, aiming for five short sessions across the week. It would be very helpful if parents could record these in the reading record each time their child reads.
