Clubs for children

We have a wide variety of clubs and extra-curricular activities on offer at St. Paul's at different times of the year.

Please click on the links below to see clubs for this half term.

These clubs are run by outside volunteers and staff; they include free clubs during and after school, as well as paid-for clubs led by outside agencies.

Whilst not all available at the same time, here is a selection of what we can offer:

  • Two St Paul's Choirs split by age across the school.

  • St Paul's School Orchestra, open to all children who are learning a wind, brass or string instruments in or out of school, whatever their standard. Art and craft, chess, computing and story clubs- run by staff at lunchtimes at different times of the year.

  • A popular gardening club, which helps to maintain the pupils' veggie beds.

  • Le Club Francais- for our younger children after school.

  • Photography Club, run by Lillian Spibey on Tuesday after school  Lillian@lillianspibeyphotography.com

  • Netball club for Year 5 run by staff after school

  • St Paul's Panthers- formed in 2001, and run entirely by parent volunteers for children in Years 1-6 on Saturdays. They meet to train and play matches at the school and at the Friends Life Sports Ground

Within school, the staff also offer a variety of sporting opportunities, often linked to competitions with local schools, including:

  • Cross-Country Club - With regular races across the local area
  • Tag Rugby, Boys and Girls Football, Hockey, Cricket and Rounders
  • Athletics- indoor and outdoor
  • Gymnastics
