Homework is set every Friday and will be due in the next Friday.

This week, the children’s homework focuses on developing spelling accuracy and applying maths skills in measurement.

Spelling

Pupils will be set either words ending in ious and eous, or words that are homophones, on EdShed. They will be tested on these on Friday.

Maths

This week’s maths homework on MyMaths focuses on length and perimeter. Pupils have activities set to support this learning. Please encourage your child to complete these carefully and check their answers before submitting.

Times tables

Children should continue to use TT Rockstars in Garage mode to build speed and accuracy with their multiplication and division facts. Regular, short practice sessions are best for improving fluency.

Reading

Please ensure your child reads regularly at home, aiming for five short sessions across the week. It would be very helpful if parents could record these in the reading record each time their child reads.
