St. Paul’s C of E Primary School

WEEK 7 - WB 20.07.20

Hi everyone,

We hope you had a lovely, restful and enjoyable weekend. This will be our last message here.

As you know, Monday Tuesday and Wednesday of this week mark the end of the Summer term and with it, the end of our school year and the end of your time as Year 4.

We are so pleased with how well you have adapted to the new way of working over the last few months and we are sorry that we didn't get the opportunity to spend the Summer Term with you all, enjoying the beautiful weather and learning all about or topics together, to finish off the year. We hope you have had some fun with your Home Learning over these past few months and we have loved seeing all of the work you have been sending in to us.

For those of you that were able to come in on Friday, we loved being able to see your smiley faces and getting the chance to spend some time with you all. We hope you enjoyed coming back into school to see the teachers and your classmates, even if it was only brief.

This week, we are not giving you as much to do. However, there are still a few bits of home learning that we have set for the beginning of this week, which you can find by using the tabs opposite. In English, we have given you some work to do around moving into Year 5 and we have asked you to write a letter to you new teacher, if at all possible. There are also some PSHE tasks and some PE activities, and you may also wish to finish off your Volcano research this week. When this is finished, please can you send it into us!

Happy learning over the next couple of days and we look forward to hearing about your Summer holidays, when we return to school in September. Although you are moving onto bigger and better things in Year 5, we will still be around (Mr Hill will be there all the time for some of you!) and we would love to hear from you all.

We wish you all a brilliant summer!

Take care,

Miss Masters, Mr Hill and Mrs Hilston
