Please can children read from a book at home each day, if they are a free reader, or from the school book that they have been given for the week. Complete the daily reading record sheet and return to school each Friday, when a new sheet will be issued. 

Please can children also practise their spellings, using the Look, say, cover, write, check sheet provided. These spellings are the spelling words that we have been practising in class this week, along with 2 National Curriculum spelling words for the children to learn. Please also return this sheet on Friday.
