Year 5 on tour
The internet at Year 5's residential base is powered by unicorns, wishes and hope but, as and when the wind is blowing the post-owl in the right direction, we will try to upload a few pictures here to keep you going until their excitable, probably bedraggled return!
Early reports indicate that lots of fun is being had, with lovely weather for the river study today. What a lovely week for a trip away!
Thursday update:
The pigeons have returned with news! A couple of pictures below of a thrilling day of rope-based activities: giant swing, climbing wall, abseiling and trapeze. The children have been very daring today and many overcame their fears. The staff are very proud to say there has been so much encouragement and enthusiasm from them. They're looking forward to dragon boating and much more today!
Finally, the pigeon delivered a short video- which we think we've managed to upload. (apologies if not- we're negotiating with the gremlins. We think we've managed to make it work, albeit on its side, but you'll get the idea!)
This is the giant swing with two of our brave, intrepid, calm explorers....not that you can tell from their squeals! We'll leave you to guess who it might be!
Thursday Lunchtime update:
Pics now added of abseiling and sensory trail- and just LOOK at that glorious weather!
