Wildlife spotted in Year 1...and it isn't the children!
Today Jo Elphick from the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation came to visit Year 1. She told us all about the work they do and in particular about the orphanages they run for baby elephants. We all made an elephant from recycled milk bottles and learnt so much.
Year 1 had already done their bit for conservation by helping mummy and daddy at home. Over the last two weeks, they have all earned some money to give to the Foundation to 'adopt' a baby elephant. We raised £113.20! Well done Sycamore and Maple Classes.
