St. Paul’s C of E Primary School

SAFER INTERNET DAY

Every year, thousands of schools, youth groups, companies, charities, police services and other organisations across the globe work together to help to inspire a better, safer Internet for all.  On the first Tuesday of February each year, they all promote Safer Internet Day (SID).  Each year there is a different theme and focus for the variety of activities and projects that are undertaken.

This year (2018) the theme is:

CREATE, CONNECT AND SHARE RESPECT: A BETTER INTERNET STARTS WITH YOU

During the week when SID falls, all classes in the school will be using their timetabled Computing slot to work on an activity linked to the theme and we will have a special SID Assembly on the 6th February.  This will be additional to the Online Safety teaching that is completed at the beginning of every term as part of our Computing Curriculum.
