St. Paul’s C of E Primary School

End of Half Term Service

On Friday the school came together to celebrate the end of the first half of the Spring term.

The theme for this half term has been perseverance. In all our collective worships we have been focussing on this theme and thinking carefully about how we can make sure we do not give up when we find things challenging. Today we concluded this theme with a fantastic service at St Paul's church. In the service we reviewed the main ideas of the term and then Steve from St Paul's gave an inspiring talk on the importance of being encouraging and making sure we always support one another. Next half term there are a number of events where perseverance and encouragement will be extremely important such as the SATS for Year 2 and Year 6; the trip to the Isle of Wight for Year 5 and the numerous sporting events which will occur.

We wish all our children and families a very safe and restful half term.
