St. Paul’s C of E Primary School

Art Exhibition 2012

On Friday 16th March we held a very successful art exhibition showing work from all of the children in the school. These exhibitions are held approximately every three years and the children are always very excited about them. They get a tremendous sense of pride from seeing their own work framed and hung as it looks so different than on a piece of paper bluetacked to the wall! It gives them the opportunity to look at others' work and talk about what they like about it, as well as visiting an art gallery and the behaviours expected, both part of the National Curriculum for art. We hope you enjoyed looking at the different pictures if you managed to come and look. Many thanks for your support if you did. The pictures sold do generate a small amount for the school which is always used on art projects. Watch this space to find out what we do with it this time!
